Our third week here is great! We went to mass in Gulangyu again and the mass songs are really alive with spirit. We had to do this opening thing for the OEC. We were the opening extras, you could say. The night was filled with life we\hen all the performances of the overseas students did their presentations. Thomas and I were telling the other people to go with the flow. We told them to cheer when the crowd cheers and to wave their hands if the crowd does. But still they didn’t want to. The presentations were very well prepared with singing dancing and other kinds of presentations. The best part was when there were presentations one after another. The countries in the ceremony or you can say concert were Japan, Mongolia, Korea, Laos, Sri Lanka, Russia, Italy, Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Germany and of course China. Their presentations were very well prepared wherein we were just extra at the start if the whole thing. To me the Japan, Africa and Indonesia were the best performances. Again our class is really fun except tingli. The break period is very long. Our lunch is two hours long. A good time for us to rest do homework study and all that stuff. I had to do the responsorial psalm for a mass that the XCE designed. I had to sing in front of the participants and other people. the song was "How lovely is your dwelling place." People say i did good!
That's all for now!
